Summer Reading and Scripture Garden

Happy Summer and congratulations on finishing another homeschool year!

This Summer Reading Guide is an accompaniment to our Homeschool Summer Camp. How Does Your Garden Grow Reading & Scripture Garden is our art project! Just like a regular garden, this indoor flower garden grows and grows through reading and scripture memory!

Homeschool Summer Camp is a 12-week set of Open & Go, fun and engaging, daily themed activities for your K-3rd grade kids. Use as much or as little of each day's content as you like. We've given each day of the week a different topic, which will carry through the summer.

These summer camp activities were written by teachers, homeschool moms, and teachers who've become homeschool moms! Your children are destined to learn throughout the summer. (They'll just think they're having fun!)

There are modifications for activities for older and younger kids! Each week is based on a theme (see topics below) and everything is all planned out for you. Math Mondays, Touch Tuesday (Science), Wild Wednesday (focus on gross motor / outdoor play with Mom), Turn the Page Thursday (focus on literacy skills). Also included are snack, craft, and field trip ideas for the week that are also theme related.

Wk 10: Food is Fun
Wk 11: Jungle Explorers
Wk 12: Blast Off to Outer Space

This curriculum is designed to start the first week in June and go through the 3rd week in August. BUT, each is independent so you can really do whatever you’d like whenever you have time -- all, none, or some! 🙂
