If you’re thinking about homeschooling this fall, If you’re thinking about homeschooling this fall, start now by asking yourself one simple question…

What do we want our homeschool to look like?

And know that your homeschool doesn’t have to look anything like public school.

But if you grew up in the school system like I did, there’s a good chance you’ll need a little deschooling.

Deschooling is simply the process of letting go of everything you thought education had to look like… so you can begin to see what it could look like.

When we were homeschooling, my son often came downstairs in his Batman costume, ready for the day. My daughter loved to wear her ballet costumes and her favorite Clifford the Big Red Dog headband all through 2nd grade.

We didn’t use desks.
We read snuggled on the couch.
We played and learned on the floor.
We wrote at the kitchen table.

And some afternoons?
We headed to the beach and built forts out of driftwood, sometimes for days at a time.

That was school too.

So take a little time to dream.
Write it down. Let your mind wander a bit.

Undo the desks.
Undo the rigid schedules.
Undo the pressure to make it look like anything you’ve seen before.

Maybe your days start outside with scooters and fresh air.
Or maybe they begin with chores, breakfast together, and quiet devotions around the table.

What will your homeschool look like?

If you’re feeling that pull toward homeschooling but aren’t sure where to start, I’d love to chat.
I offer homeschool coaching, and your first session is completely free. We can talk through your questions, your kids, and what this could look like for your family.

Just comment COACH or send me a message and I’ll get you the details.

Last weekend I had a few friends over for a Make & Last weekend I had a few friends over for a Make & Take Spring Cleaning night at my house, and it turned into one of those simple, meaningful evenings you wish you could bottle up!

We made a Luscious Lemon Thieves cleaner, a lavender linen spray, and even a non-toxic oven cleaner. Nothing complicated, just simple ingredients, good conversation, and even better company!

In between lemon blueberry snacks and lots of laughing, we got into a conversation I hear all the time… how overwhelming it can feel to look under the sink and wonder what’s actually in everything we’re using.

That’s really where Thieves came into the conversation.

What I love about it is how simple it makes things. It’s plant-based, super versatile, and a powerhouse of a cleaner, which means you don’t need a different cleaner for every single surface in your home. I use Thieves Cleaner throughout my home. It just takes away a lot of the guesswork and replaces it with something you can feel good about using every day.

It’s not about changing everything. It’s just about making a shift that makes your home feel cleaner, lighter, and more aligned with how you want to live.

That’s why I always come back to the Happy Healthy Home Bundle. It’s such an easy starting point if you’ve been wanting to make a change but didn’t know where to begin. Everything is already put together for you, and it just simplifies the whole process.

And right now through April 30th, you can get 15% off your first order, which makes it a really good time to try it out if it’s been on your mind.

I’m curious, have you ever started looking at the products in your home and thought about switching things out, or is this something totally new for you?
You don’t have to figure out homeschooling all on You don’t have to figure out homeschooling all on your own.

There’s so much noise out there… curriculum choices, schedules, doubts, questions… and it can feel overwhelming before you even begin.

That’s exactly why I offer homeschool coaching.

Not to give you a one-size-fits-all plan, but to walk alongside you as you build a homeschool that fits your family
your rhythms
your values
your kids.

We’ll simplify what feels complicated.
We’ll create a plan that actually works in your real life.
And you’ll walk away feeling confident in how to start (or keep going).

You were never meant to do this alone.

If you’ve been wishing for someone to guide you, encourage you, and help you take that next step…
